an innovative educational outreach effort designed specifically for local musicians and music students. It is a free program, intended to bring together local amateur musicians and music students who share a mutual interest in exploring the chamber music repertoire for their personal enrichment and enjoyment. To facilitate the formation of chamber ensembles, CCMS sponsors yearly events where musicians are able to meet each other and play chamber music together.

Ensembles that are formed as a result of can request to receive musical guidance and/or coaching from the Concord Chamber Players and selected guest artists on the series. CCMS has collaborated with the Concord and Lincoln-Sudbury Orchestras, local music teachers and the Indian Hill Music Center in Groton, Massachusetts, to make the Musical Connections program available to over 400 local musicians and music students. To date, approximately 92 musicians and music students have registered for the program.
