It’s my great pleasure to announce the Concord Chamber Music Society’s 18th season! With an outstanding array of artists and intruiging programs, the CCMS 2017-18 concerts will engage and delight.

I am thrilled to welcome pianist Shai Wosner for his first CCMS appearance and collaborate with him in a program including Schumann’s Second Sonata for Violin and Piano, which will open our season this fall. Making its debut in Concord this November, the dynamic and award-winning Calidore Quartet will juxtapose favorite quartets by Haydn and Mozart with two works by Carolyn Shaw. In January the Concord Chamber Players, members of the Boston Symphony and guest Axel Strauss will perform a fascinating program including works by Mozart, Brahms and Alfred Schnittke. Concluding the season, the St. Lawrence String Quartet will make a return CCMS engagement, performing quartets by Sibelius, Beethoven and John Adams.

I look forward to seeing you soon!

Best regards,

Wendy L. Putnam
